Clear braces involve a wearing a series of clear aligners. Each one is worn for two weeks before progressing to the next one, gently moving the teeth as you go.
Traditional braces involve attaching metal brackets to the front of the teeth and linking them together with a wire. These are called fixed braces, commonly known as ‘train tracks’. Understandably, some adults are not keen to wear highly visible fixed braces, especially as orthodontic treatment can last up to two years.
